The aim of the project was to develop a narrative-driven game. The players are following a story-line interspersed with interactive game-play.
Audio plays an important part in the project in creating suspense and atmosphere. This is why it must be experienced using headphones. Psychological games, as well as movies involving a tragic event or a horror situation, have always been popular with the general public, as they explore the fears of human beings and what it takes to keep the audience involved in what is happening. The feeling of a real place and time is brought to life by creating a story that is realistic and makes the player feel as though it's something that can happen to anyone. Tension and curiosity piques people's interest when they are enjoying a good game or a movie, which is why we wanted to investigate this genre accompanied with the interactive storytelling game aspects.
